At Stanley Park -- watching the sun set at Burrard Inlet.
This is one of those photos that makes me thankful for learning 360 photography; how many times have we seen an amazing sunset and wanted to capture it? Sure we can on a still image, that's only a fragment of what we could see at that moment; what I love about 360 photography is that it takes you back there, you can look around again and again.
There's some interesting things that can be done with 360 photos, including warping them in on themselves to produce 'planet-like' projections, -- check out this photo:
I often get asked how the planet photos are done, the best way to describe them is to imagine looking down in the 360 and zooming out further and further, eventually all horizons will be visible -- the horizons connected form a circle -- zoom out more and the sky enters the image, creating a planet-like effect. :)
