Peyto Lake Sunset
Peyto Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada: 2009.08.24
This was taken at the end of what was to be a trip to Caldron Lake. Caldron Lake is unseen in this photograph and located just behind where the the left ray of sun enters this photo; to get there you hike down to Peyto Lake, then up the mountain second from left; I ended up scrambling up the mountain far left, considerably -- and unknowingly -- off-trail.
